Musculoskeletal disorders alter the body’s muscles,joints,tendons,ligaments and nerves.This word descibe a enormous cluster of circumstances in the body either minuately or majorly from injuries due to consequents over a period of time.Mostly job-relaed musculoskeletal disorders initiated and progress either by the work itself or by the employee’s working setting.Physical therapists are mostly concerned with physically challenging and intense repetitive work in their practice that,s why they are at greatest risk of developing WMSDs(2)
The work environment remarkably contributes to work-related illnesses partly caused by conflicting or aggravated working circumstances, accelerated or worsened by workplace exposure stated by WHO. (3, 4)
The worldwide disease including soft tissues of the upper extremity nerves, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and blood vessels is known as repetative strain injury (RSI). This term is also denoted as cumulative trauma disorders (CTDs) ,repetitive motion disorders, occupational overuse syndrome (OOS), work related musculoskeletal disorder (WRMSD), or upper extremity musculoskeletal disorder (UEMSD)(5) In this disoder people suffer from pain, stiffness, numbness and weakness due to continuous repetitive work,which is performed often under opposing situations. Generally their job and normal activities affect due to pain and other symptoms The normal daily stress are due to bad working organizations and working setups (5)
