Odysseus is very clueless at times and doesn’t tell his crew all that he knows. A good leader is honest and is open to telling or receiving comments. Just like when Odysseus and his men get to Aeolus. Aeolus gives Odysseus a bag of winds that will guide him and his men home. After ten days, they are very close to Ithaca, and his men open the bag and blow them all the way back. Odysseus should’ve told them to not open it and what would happen. If they didn’t open the bag all of his men wouldn’t have died and they would’ve gotten home and would’ve been able to see their families again but instead of telling them and making sure they didn’t open the bag, he carelessly fell asleep.
